Self-guided. On your own and all year round

The Self-guided version of Transardinia took off in 2009 to satisfy a desire of many bikers' to undertake the Transardinia Classic adventure in any period of the year, on their own and spending less, carrying along everything they may need and counting only on themselves.

No support vehicle, no baggage transport and no guides. To make this possible the route has been modified, avoiding some highly technical and impervious passages and private grounds that may only be accessed accompanied by Ichnusabike guides. The Self-guided Transardinia is therefore a partially facilitated Transardinia Classic as for the type of grounds, while the total length remains about 450 km.

If you like long off-road tracks with more or less regular grounds, you'll enjoy Transardinia Self-guided. Ichnusabike offers a flexible package so, if you prefer travelling lightly, updated and with a highly qualified support, you can request the luggage transport and/or guide service.

Along the Transardinia Self-guided route you'll find various possible accomodations but you have to book in advance to be able to board and lodge.

Although the route evolves along public roads, there is no official cartography nor road signs. Therefore if you don't want to take advatage of the guide service, the only way to manage is to have a good GPS and follow the track. If you don't have a GPS you may rent one from Ichnusabike.
